Type 2 diabetes warns through prediabetes, are you listening?
Prediabetes combine warnings, easy to know, that type 2 diabetes could be nearby. The sooner we take control of the warnings the bigger chance to successful measures to prevent type 2 diabetes.
Type 2 diabetes was known as the Adult-Onset Diabetes, and it is a chronic condition which causes blood glucose levels to be higher than normal, or hyperglycemia. Type 2 diabetes is a multifactorial disease, genetic predisposition included, and negative healthy habits has a lot to say. A lot.
In fact, bad lifestyle habits are a sign of our times due to a sugared products diet, ultra-processed food consumption, and rampant sedentariness. As we already told you, these negative habits play mayor role in type 2 diabetes debut.

Nowadays we have much more opportunities to know our health prediction. A single blood test, such as the regular year check-up at the working place, can give us an accurate foresight in this sense.
Prediabetes is the condition characterized by slightly elevated blood glucose levels, regarded as indicative that a person is at risk of progressing to Type 2 diabetes. It is not a disease. This stage is often referred to as the “grey area” when blood sugar is abnormally high. It is the entrance to type 2 diabetes. You are in your way to T2D and it is not good news. You may change your lifestyle. T2D complications are kidney disease, increases risk of glaucoma, or cardiovascular risks, can lead to loss of a limb.
However, when prediabetes is detected, the odds would be much in our favor, only if we decided to take the bull by the horns and we make the approach in terms of changing habits rather than using antidiabetics.
Is it possible to avoid T2D when already in prediabetes?
The bigger consensus about this issue states that the chances of achieving the objectives related to avoiding T2D from prediabetes situation are much greater than reverse the disease itself. So, the question can I stop prediabetes developing into type 2 diabetes?

Without understanding the usefulness of drugs, the prognosis of diabetes will depend more on our lifestyles than on anything else. Remember, it´s never too late to regain control of diabetes risk, not even when you already have it. Taking control as soon as possible will be more effective.
